EP sponge E-4488 lid packing
EP sponge has been adopted for the gasket on the underside of the lid, which is resistant to deterioration. E-4488 is somewhat harder, and for the lid gasket, tape processing is also applied to the backside.
E-4488 is an industrial rubber sponge primarily composed of EPDM (ethylene propylene rubber), known for its excellent ozone resistance, heat resistance, chemical resistance, and electrical insulation properties. It has a high hardness of 35°±5°. Due to expansion and contraction caused by temperature changes, it can be difficult to achieve precise dimensions.
